Perfectly Elegant and Relaxed

Hello friends!
I hope December is treating you well. Thank you so much for your birthday wishes yesterday. I loved each and every comment that you took the time to write! They truly made me smile.

Now back to the regular schedule...
"Perfectly Elegant and Relaxed" is what I've striven for in this design.
I'd like to think my way of designing cards is much like a fashion designer's job. I want my card-designs to reflect the current trends and styles. I also love to showcase the products that are readily "out there". It's always my absolute pleasure to "put it all together".

I love using word dies for the background. First of all, I created colored sentiments by spraying Heidi Swapp's Color Shine onto Canson Watercolor paper. After it dried, I made as many die cuts as I could and then I adhered them to create a colorful textural background.

As you can see, I also re-arranged the word "joyeux noel" a bit differently. For the focal point, I embossed the house image from "Winter Wishes".

As for the floral images, I stamped two small flowers from "For To Us" (linked below) set and embossed them with glitter embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by!

Really love the color scheme on this card...like the non-traditional feel. Love that sentiment, as well. Your embossing looks terrific.
